Affordable Fishing Trip Rates at the Jersey Shore!
The MADGAFFER II provides excellent opportunity for fishing trips out of the heart of the Jersey Shore, featuring both private fishing charters and open-boat charters. This flexibility makes it easy to get on the water, whether you're planning a trip with just two anglers or a full crew of friends!
Charter Options & Pricing
Day Fishing Charters: Trip that typically departs at 6:30 AM, making it ideal for catching striped bass, fluke, sea bass, and more. The cost is $1,400 for up to 10 passengers, with an additional $120 for each extra passenger.
Afternoon/Evening Charters: Often departing at 3:30 PM. This is perfect for after-work fishing or enjoying a sunset on the water, priced at $1,400 for 10 passengers, with $120 for each additional person.
Open-Boat/Split Charters: Option allows you to bring yourself OR a small group without the need for a reservation—just call the captain! The cost is $140 per passenger.
With our boat typically limited to 10 anglers, you’ll enjoy more space at the rail and better chances at catching fish compared to crowded party boats, all while keeping close to party boat pricing.
*We also offer a rate discount for senior citizens, veterans, active-duty military, and first responders. Just call Captain Ray for a discount when making your reservation!
Booking Policy & Onboard Etiquette
Full Boat Charters: To reserve your New Jersey fishing charter, a 1/3 deposit is required. If you cancel and the date can be rebooked, your deposit may be refunded or applied to the rebooked trip; cancellations within 24 hours of departure will be billed in full.
Open Boat/Split Charters: These are typically prearranged but do not require advance reservations! Walk-ons are available on a first come, first serve basis, making it easy to get out on the water!
A 20% tip for the mate is customary and appreciated for assistance with rigging, unhooking fish, filleting, and packing your catch.
Feel free to bring a small amount of beer or wine, but please note that no hard liquor or drugs are permitted, ensuring everyone can enjoy a safe and fun day on the water during your fishing charter.
